Home-Start trains volunteers to support families with at least one child under five and under stress. Volunteers visit families in their own homes, to give support, befriending, and practical help. Full training, support and out of pocket expenses are provided.
We are recruiting for our next Volunteer Preparation Course starting Friday 4th May 9.45 – 14.30, running for 10 sessions finishing on Friday 13th July 2018.

In 2014 Home-Start Hillingdon agreed its Business, Operational and Strategic Plan for the next three years and requires new trustees who have the time available to join its Management Board to work together in guiding and governing the charity through an exciting phase in its development.
In particular Home-Start Hillingdon is seeking confident people with financial, human resource, safeguarding, legal, fundraising, commercial, or IT skills, or who have a professional interest or background in family welfare.
Trustees can expect to spend around 12 hours a month on this rewarding role, including evening Board meetings.
If you know anyone with time and skills to offer, please ask them to get in touch for more information and contact:
